Sandblasting Safety Issues
	n Respiratory – Long term exposure to silica dust can lead to a chronic respiratory illness known as silicosis. – Use of a particulate respiratory filter rated P100 or equivalent is recommended – High quality dust filtration from the sandblasting cabinet is recommended n Eye protection – Sandblasting inside a cabinet prevents abrasive particles from ricocheting into your eyes. When blasting outside of a cabinet, eye protection in the form of safety glasses or face shield should be worn.
